Two groups of 10 for this event. 9:00 and 12:30.

Each shooter will get 5 runs.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This event is for our our Intermediate/Advanced shooters who want to add some movement, mag change on the move, immediate action to malfunctions, strategy, and time stress to their shooting skills. This is NOT a competition. The training is up to you, the shooter. Bring your EDC, home defense gun, or competition gun. Go slow for accuracy or fast for a high hit factor. This course is based on USPSA competition rules and scoring. Because shooters run each stage one at a time we can only take 10 shooters per event.

MUST BE AN INTERMEDIATE LEVEL PISTOL SHOOTER CAPABE OF OPERATING YOUR FIREARM SAFELY IN A GROUP ENVIRONMENT!

First-timers, do not feel intimidated to attend this event! The goal is to get you out from behind the shooting booth and introduce you to more real-world shooting. You will be coached throughout your shoot until you feel comfortable. Emphasis will be placed on safety with no pressure to go fast. Try different guns, different strategies, see what works best for you.

Location:

This event will be conducted at Rainbow Shooting Range, Instructor Range, 3139 Rainbow Valley Blvd. Fallbrook, CA 92028.

Time:

We will have to groups, 9:00 and 12:30.

When you arrive:

• CCW Permit Holders, unload before you get to the Instructor Range.
• Get your gear on at the car but leave guns in the case.
• Move to the SAFE table, point into the berm, clear your pistol, then holster.
• Load your magazines and do a course walk through. If this is your first time for this event, stand by for instructions. For those who have done this event before, be prepared to start. We will start once the course is ready and the RO is ready. You do NOT have to have expensive shooting rig for this event. You can even start with your gun on the bench vice a holster.

What to bring: 

• Primary Pistol (Recommend bringing a back up gun) (No Pistol Caliber Carbines)
• Pistol Holster (No shoulder holsters)
• Magazines (at least 3 for medium course, 4-6 for long course)
• Magazine pouches or holsters (Magazine holsters are recommended but are optional)
• Sturdy belt
• 100 to 200 rds depending on course length you choose.
• Chair to sit in while waiting for your turn to shoot.
